Pastorates are a ministry that will be made up of 20-30 members of ALF who meet in homes for the purpose of creating dynamic community within the church and effectively reach outside the church. Pastorates follow the Acts 2 model of church life, where we come together for the purpose of making disciples who go into all the world preaching the gospel. The core values of these house churches will be the study of God’s Word, fellowship with one another, prayer, ministering to one another and evangelizing the lost. Just as it was with the Acts 2 church so it should be for us…that we don’t get saved to sit in church, we get saved to serve as the church! (Acts 2:40-47)
