REform and Rebuild and
REform and Rebuild and
A three day prayer and fasting event designed to reform and rebuild the walls in our lives and church
Fast questions
What is a “fast”? A fast is when we set aside food for a period of time and focus our hearts and minds on God. In Greek and Hebrew, the word literally means “to cover the mouth”.
Why do we do it? All throughout the bible, there have been times that God’s people will set aside food for a time in order to focus on God. The purpose is to produce spiritual strength, humility before God, and connection in his presence.
How long should i fast? There is such a large variety of fasting that we see in the bible so there is no specific timeline. However, we ENCOURAGE you to start with a meal or a day to abstain from food. Drinking PLENTY of water is also encouraged.
What if i medically can’t fast? If you are unable to fast due to medical reasons, we encourage you to abstain from something that you use a good portion of your time on (T.V. or social media)
Prayer Guide
Day 1: Standing On the Wall
Read: Isaiah 62:6 & Luke 18:1-14
Focus: Establish a dynamic prayer altar of spiritual vigilance as an intercessor in the kingdom of God. Before we can tear down or build up, we must take our designated place of authority. Intercession acts as a hedge of protection around our life, family, church and nation.
Prayer Points:
● Ask God for the discipline and spiritual fire needed to maintain a thriving prayer life.
● Pray for spiritual eyes to see what the enemy is plotting and what God is establishing.
● Ask for an increase of faith for the things God has promised
● Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God.
Day 2: Praying Down Walls
Read: Joshua 6, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 & Psalm 44:4-8
Focus: Demolish hidden limitations and demonic strongholds that block our path to possessing our full inheritance in Christ. Certain limitations cannot just be worked-out; they can only be prayed-out. Prayer combined with praise provides a spiritual battering ram to level obstacles standing in the way of our God-ordained destiny.
Prayer Points:
● Break the forces of historic, generational and family strongholds that are hindering our progress.
● Release the power of praise, trusting that God will destroy the opposition.
● Declare Psalm 44:4-8
● Praise the Lord for the victory!
Day 3: Building Kingdom Walls
Read: Nehemiah 2, Micah 7:11 & Isaiah 54:2-3
Focus: Nehemiah’s rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls reminds the church that God’s kingdom advances through shared vision, humble labor, faithful prayer and unified teamwork. Together we’re building the physical and spiritual house of God to restore broken lives and prepare God’s people to extend and expand God’s kingdom here on earth.
Prayer Points:
● Ask the Holy Spirit to mend any broken foundations in our lives personally and our church corporately.
● Petition God for the divine favor of resources, supplies, and financial backing needed to finish The Mill building.
● Ask the Lord for favor over The Mill project and for personal favor
● Ask the Lord for wisdom to know where you need to grow and expand.
